Lackmann is proposing several changes to the facilities on campus.	Concerning the secondary dining areas on campus Rudolph said, "There won't be many structural changes to the Cyber Café, it's the one place on campus that really stays open all year long. It's strategically located, but I see that it needs extensive menu changes, more variety of products, maybe a little better quality.

Staff editorial: Keeping hope alive at Fisher

"Hope" is a word that has been thrown around a lot lately. Presidential-hopeful Barack Obama was probably the first to lay claim to the four-letter word this election season. While "hope" may not have captured the zeitgeist of the American public to the degree that "change" has, it can still be seen on Obama lawn signs across the nation.

Over the past few years the school has done much to try and improve the appearance of the campus.

I must say it looks lovely. LeChase Court, formerly known as Lavery Lawn, in particular is gorgeous.

However, there have been some areas on campus that have been neglected.

What's in a place?

One of the biggest things I've learned the last four years is the answer to that question. Simply put: A LOT.

A geographic location can mean everything to a person. After all, that's where their life is taking place. This may seem exceedingly simple, but it goes a ton further.

I remember people asking me where I planned to attend college. When I told them St. John Fisher, a large majority had the same response: Where is that?

Now, four years later, when people ask me where I am graduating from, my response is still the same. It is interesting to notice, however, that I no longer have to explain that the school is in Rochester, N.

What is the goal of St. John Fisher College? Where are we honestly looking to go in the future?

On a yearly basis, the College seems to expand by adding yet another brown and beige brick building on campus.

With each new landscape-altering building, Fisher becomes bigger and more advanced, increasing the level of recruiting both athletically and academically.

My plan to graduate in May of my senior year has been consistent since I decided to come to St. John Fisher College.
Not surprisingly, the college administration has gone and done it again.

As an '05 alum, I've learned that the more things change at St. John Fisher College, the more they stay exactly the same.

The removal of Jim Liebow and Bon Appétit from campus is yet another casualty in a long line of disappointing actions taken by Fisher's administration, with little to no input from the students most affected by these bureaucratic decisions.

Achieving a career milestone such as leading a team to 500 victories says an awful lot about one's coaching abilities. The words "winner," "leader" and "strategist" come to mind.

But Len Maiorani, the head coach of the St. John Fisher College softball team, believes it signifies something completely different.

Luckily, the men's tennis team can finally say that they have bested their East Avenue rivals, as they beat Nazareth 6-3 on April 18.
One of them involved counting the number of words ever published as part of an Extra Innings column.

I was pretty disgusted this past week when I heard about what happened at the University of Florida. Thanks to youtube, most of you are probably aware of what I am talking about. If not, here is a brief summary: John Kerry was doing a question and answer session at the University when student Andrew Meyer approached the microphone and started ranting. A minute or so into it, the University Police attempted to subdue Meyer and this is where things got out of control.

The Scoop-back and better than ever! Hey guys, sorry to be away so long, it's been one of those weeks. But what I've lacked in punctuality in the past few weeks, I hope to make up for with length and enthusiasm in this week's blog!

First of all, let me just say I think we have a great season of TV on our hands.

The 2007 St. John Fisher men's soccer team isn't getting nearly enough credit for its accomplishments.
